This is a spectacular species from Shumkat massif in the center of Palawan, although some have told me it also grows on other mountains. The plant develops lower pitchers that are generally tubby, similar in shape to N. Mira. Upper pitchers can range from green in color to dark purple.
Both clones produce incredibly dark leaves when subjected to higher light levels. N. Leonardoi thrives in higher humidity compared to other Palawan species. Its lower pitchers often burrow into sphagnum moss before inflating, so I suggest placing live sphagnum around the pot's edges to promote healthy pitcher growth.
Each plant is about 2.5" in diameter, potted in a 2.5" pot. Plant will be shipped unpotted, priority.
