Nepenthes X “redneck” seeds arrived

Today, I just received several hundred Nepenthes seeds in the mail from a grower in New York. Originally I had sent the grower some Nepenthes pollen to use to pollinate his female, but the attempt failed to pollinate his Nepenthes X “redneck” female. The only cross that seems to have worked on the female was his “redneck” X “redneck” cross. I was supposed to receive some seeds from the pollen I sent him, but since the pollination didn’t work, he was so kind enough as to send me all of the N. X redneck seeds that were produced. About 1/10th of them are runts and failed seed pods, but the rest have healthy embryos and were just harvested only a few days ago. If everything works out, then I should have a lot of seedlings from this bah of seeds. If you would like to have a seedling or two, just email me at lance.plater1@gmail.com and ill keep you in the loop. The hybrid has a funny name indeed, but the reason for its name is due to the redneck of the upper peristome. The seedlings should have some wonderful color to show off.
