Nepenthes Hamata BE release Feb. 2012

For those that do not know Borneo Exotics, a popular Nepenthes distributer, has released a limited number of Nepenthes hamata. Nepenthes hamata are very sought after for their toothed peristomes which put off a wonderful display. I do not own one currently, but I hope to get one as soon as I get another terrarium for my highlander grow box. The hamata releases don’t come cheap ( 200$ ), but every hamata release produces different results. Some releases in the past have shown specific coloring to the plant and other genetic oddities. The plants are currently being shipped off to the US, but all the plants will be shipped off to their respective buyers once they arrive in California.
