My Sarracenia Seedling Grow Patch Feb. 2012

Posted on February 15, 2012 by lance No Comments

Recently, I have been receiving a ton of sarracenia seeds from my collection and from other growers. After stratifying the seed, I put the seeds in my grow patch where they grow their first baby pitchers. Then, Ill transplant them into larger seedling quadrants where they will live the next year until I transplant them into their pots to live in up to maturity. Currently I have seedlings of S. X Leah Wilkerson that have sprouted. Below is a picture of a Drosera which is rooting along side the Sarracenia seedlings. I will be posting updates as the latter mature and produce color.
